Mom & Wee Ones Yoga (pre-crawling and newly-crawling babies welcome)

A great class to get you out and about with your pre-crawling little one! Enjoy taking the time to stretch and release the tension from your new mom body. Particular attention is given to each mom's healing and energy, to ensure your experience is positive and useful for your day-to-day. Depending on their energy and need, babies will join us for some of the poses.

Baby Yoga (newborn to almost crawler, with one adult)

Explore dozens of yoga poses designed specifically to be enriching for your baby and to support developmental movement discoveries. Each class is filled with calming, nurturing ways to enhance bonding, aid baby’s digestion and improve sleep patterns. Babies enjoy yoga while on their backs, tummies, or held in loving arms.

TOT OPTION 2 Viraj 5_edited_edited.jpg

Tot Yoga (able crawler to 24 months, with one adult)

These classes are creative, fun-loving and active. Watch tots become more confident as they are encouraged and supported in their physical explorations. This is a faster-paced yoga class, because of the tots' newfound mobility and curiosity.

Your tot will playfully practice yoga poses with your assistance, while sitting, standing, walking and jumping. Parents will still find time for quiet breathing and relaxation practice.

TYKES OPTION 2 Rachel 3_edited_edited.jpg

Yoga poses, songs, stories and games are combined to create an enriching parent/child activity. Designed to suit your Tyke's curiosities while learning yoga through social interaction, repetition and play. Learn to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, and increase attention span. Help your tyke build the foundation for a healthy and fit lifestyle while having fun! Grown-ups get ready for some playful "show and share" with these fun poses and activities!

Mom Yoga (adults only)

No matter the age of your kids, being a mom is an intense, busy, challenging, and incredibly rewarding experience. This yoga class is your opportunity to restore and reset your body and energy. Nurture yourself with gentle stretching and rest. Bring your questions and requests for practices that we can design together that will be uniquely useful for you in your day-to-day. Mats and yoga props will be available; you are welcome to bring your own.

For Families with School-Age Children

Yoga offers children the opportunity to gain confidence and self-esteem, develop sound body awareness, find outlets for stress and energy, and to manage attention.

A regular yoga practice provides a strong foundation in flexibility, stability, agility, strength, and focus. It can benefit and complement the practice routines of children in music, arts or competitive sports-based programs.YoginiMama classes are intentionally designed as "parented" programs, so that parents may glean the benefits of a regular yoga practice for themselves. Additionally, this is an opportunity to form deeper connections and bonding with your kids as they navigate the often tricky path of growing up.

Parent & Child Yoga (5 years to 8 years, with one adult)

Children are sure to enjoy this class filled with poses, games, movement, noises, breathing and loads of laughter. Classes are designed to engage and challenge children, regardless of age; developmental movement being key to exploring each and every pose. Parents will delight in showing-and-sharing all that the class brings. Independent practice, partner poses, and group activities ensure these classes are fun for all.

Parent & Youth Yoga (9 years to 12 years, with one adult)
This program offers a great opportunity for an adult and their growing preteen to practice as partners and experience hatha yoga together. Calming breathing practices and partner poses help strengthen your bond. Games and group activities help families develop a sense of community. We practice to discover and challenge our stability, strength, flexibility and focus. This practice can complement and enhance your performance in athletics, dance, martial arts, and even offer support in preparation for the pressures of school and social situations.

Family Yoga (multiple family members welcome, minimum age 4+ years)
A playful class designed for family connection and exploration of movement, meditation and breathing. Family members work together as a team and independently to discover the most useful aspects of a yoga practice for everyday life. Every class is new and creative and designed to offer a nurturing experience for every age and level of yoga experience.
